Last month, it was revealed that Jennifer English was no longer reprising her role as Gwendolen in Tide of Destruction due to health reasons. Now, according to new data, Angela St. Albano, best known for Resident Evil Requiem, may be taking her place.
Eclipse Glow Games has yet to officially confirm it, but Need4Games claims to have evidence of the replacement. If the message is correct, the changes don’t just affect the voice acting: Gwendoline’s appearance is said to be significantly redesigned. Meanwhile, English herself had previously helped the team find a new actress for the role, so the switch isn’t a surprise.
St. Albano is already familiar to players as Grace Ashcroft in Resident Evil Requiem, and will play Gwendoline for the first time in the Tides of Annihilation playable demo at Gamescom 2026. The game is a single-player action-adventure game with RPG elements, set in the ruins of London and the mysterious Avalon.
