Ahead of EA Sports FC 27’s scheduled release on September 25, EA Sports has announced the official ratings of the 27 highest-rated pros in the game. The reveal kicks off a traditional period of debate among fans, with the playing prowess of international stars hotly debated. Topping the men’s rankings are Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland, who share first place with an overall rating of 91 points. In women’s football, Alexia Putras remains the supreme standard of value by which everything is measured. Both lists reflect the sporting achievements of the past season and include some noteworthy promotions and relegations.
In the men’s division, following the leading duo was a tight group with a score of 90 points. These include Rodri, Jude Bellingham, Thibaut Courtois and Barcelona talents Pedri and Lamine Yamar. From a Bundesliga perspective, Bayern Munich’s professional players are particularly eye-catching. Forward Harry Kane confirmed his high rating with 90 points, while teammate Michael Olise recorded one of the biggest jumps in the entire simulation. After a strong first season in Munich, his overall strength rose four points to 90 points.
In the women’s rankings, Alexia Putellas once again holds the top spot despite a change in club affiliation. Behind them are Ballon d’Or winners Aitana Bonmatí and Khadija Shaw, who scored 90 points. While Bonmati had to settle for a slightly lower rating after an injury-laden season, the developers rewarded strong performances from Yui Hasegawa and Hannah Hampton with substantial increases of three points each.

What is striking this year is the strong presence of individual top clubs in the top 27 players. Among the men’s players, PSG have the largest squad with the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Vitinha and Hvitsa Kovaratzhelja. On the women’s side, FC Barcelona continue to dominate the rankings, with numerous players topping the list.
The figures now announced mark the beginning of a gradual rollout of the entire database. EA Sports plans to further reveal individual leagues and playstyles before official sales begin in late September. The developers also reserve the right to make final squad changes prior to launch in order to properly reflect the closing of the summer transfer window in the game.
