Game Pass will lose at least 5 games when it ends in August 2026. Information about the items being prepared for removal has appeared in the official Xbox app. The listing has not yet been fully confirmed via Xbox Wire, but it generally matches the information in the app.
It is reported that starting from August 31, 2026, the following 5 games will be removed from the Game Pass subscription:
- Another crab treasure
- I am your beast
- neon abyss
- a lonely outpost
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Full Version
Note that The Witcher 3 returned to Game Pass in February of this year after a years-long absence. At the same time, all DLC was added to the game, and a few months later, a new DLC was announced. More details about it are expected to emerge at Gamescom, with the launch of the add-on itself set to take place in 2027. It looks like the game won’t be available on Game Pass by then.
