Videos of Grand Theft Auto VI continue to appear online, leaked by a tipster nicknamed Cyberleek. Previously, Rockstar had indirectly confirmed its authenticity by sending a complaint to the resource that posted it. A third video was released, in which players noticed many features not found in the first two videos, and confirmed some theories.

- night view. The new video is the first in the series to leak, showing off an extended nighttime gameplay sequence. In the video you can see night lighting, headlight operation and reflections.
- Hand-to-hand combat system. In the film, Jason had several conflicts with security. Blocking attacks, disarming enemies, and various melee animations are all visible. Sometimes, a slowdown effect is used when taking out enemies, reminiscent of a similar mechanic in Red Dead Redemption 2.
- electric shock. Leaked footage shows Jason using a stun gun against guards for the first time. After being hit, the enemy loses the ability to move and falls to the ground, while the body continues to react to the impact of the stun gun. Different from the previous part, from the interface point of view, the stun gun uses charging instead of endless reloading.
- Guard action. Players notice that NPCs do not immediately fire on Jason. In the scene, the guards try to react to what’s going on, first engaging in close combat and using various actions on the player, which may indicate that the behavior of armed NPCs is more complex than in GTA V.
- You can pick up NPC’s headgear. After Jason eliminates one of the guards, he picks up the hat and puts it on himself. Apparently, Grand Theft Auto VI will have a deeper system for interacting with items and NPC costumes.
- A new choice for anti-theft cars. Near the car, the interface offers several operating options – clone keys and smash windows. As the name suggests, the first option allows you to copy car keys, while the second option is the typical way to steal a car in Grand Theft Auto – by breaking the window. The exact purpose of the clone key mechanism remains unknown.
- Fuel system. The fuel level indicator is again visible in the car interface.
- story scene. The film ends with a cutscene of Jason and Carl talking on the ship. This is the first material released as part of the currently leaked series, showing off the character’s full cutscenes. Unlike some gameplay elements, cutscenes look more polished.
Note that Take-Two and Rockstar have yet to acknowledge the authenticity of the leaks. Meanwhile, an official demo of Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay will be available on Netflix next week.
