“RuneScape: Dragonwilds” has been in Steam Early Access since September 2025, but the game has not yet been released on Xbox. At the same time, the game received “very positive” reviews from players on Steam.
It’s also worth noting that RuneScape: Dragonwilds will be released on September 15th not only on Xbox and Game Pass, but also on Playstation, and will be available on Playstation Plus subscriptions – Extra and Premium tiers. The developers have confirmed that the project will offer cross-platform multiplayer from the start, which will allow players on all platforms to play together cooperatively.
RuneScape: Dragonwilds is a spin-off of the original RuneScape, a popular MMORPG released back in 2001. The new project combines familiar gameplay elements into a cooperative (up to 4 players) survival RPG format. Players will explore the environment together, obtain resources, build equipment, fight dragons, and develop characters.
