Spiral AI Studio Delay Launching the AI chat app RyzaChat: AI Ryza and your own Midsummer Dream story, based on the “Atelier Ryza” series. The iOS and Android versions were originally scheduled to be released on August 18, but due to an unexpected number of pre-registrations, the developers announced a delay. The team is currently strengthening the construction of server infrastructure to ensure stable operation after the service goes online. New dates will be announced later.
RyzaChat AI is a free-paced role-playing game in which interaction with Ryza is mainly through dialogue. Players can choose role-playing mode to advance the story, or social mode to spend a more relaxed time with the heroine. Through dialogue, you can travel, practice alchemy, and engage in combat, with Lysa reacting to prompts by changing her facial expressions and gestures.

For text communication, the SpiralLLM language model developed by SpiralAI is used. The company said the additional training only used materials that SpiralAI and its copyright holders have legal rights to use. The content of user conversations is not used to train the model.
The creator also stated that Lysa’s artwork was entirely created by hand under the supervision of illustrator Toridamono. Generating systems for creating images and videos were not used during development. Ryza’s voice is based on footage recorded specifically for the app, starring original voice actor Noguchi Yuri, and used in SpiralAI’s proprietary speech synthesis system. A portion of the proceeds from the project will be donated in the form of royalties to the copyright holders of the illustrations, sounds, and original series.
During the official broadcast, the developers also revealed some details about the release model. RyzaChat AI will not have a gacha mechanism, the service is based on subscription. If necessary, players can purchase additional tokens for use in conversations, with the amount spent depending on the amount of communication.
According to the plot, the app takes place after the events of Atelier Ryza 3. However, the encounter with Ryza unfolded in a kind of “dream”, which became part of the new story concept.
