On August 18, during a special live broadcast on Famitsu TUBE, SpiralAI announced the postponement of the RyzaChat project: AI Your Midsummer Dream Story and AI Ryza. According to CEO Yuichi Sasaki, delaying the game is to give the studio more time to “further strengthen its server infrastructure” following unexpectedly high pre-registration numbers following the game’s launch earlier this month.
RyzaChat: AI is an upcoming chat and artificial intelligence role-playing game developed in partnership with Koei Tecmo’s Gust studio. The main attraction of the game is the role-playing mode, where you interact with Raisalin “Ryza” Stout to advance the storyline in free-form scenarios. After completing the short tutorial on Kurken Island, the full world map opens, offering players multiple locations to visit and personalized missions based on your conversations with Lysa, including activities such as combat, crafting, and resource gathering. A chat mode will also be available, allowing for casual one-on-one conversations.
In addition to delaying the release date, more information about the game was also revealed during the live broadcast. In terms of monetization, RyzaChat: AI adopts a “chat token” subscription model and provides multiple levels.
RyzaChat: AI was originally scheduled to be released on August 18, the same day as the live broadcast. While no new release date was mentioned, Sasaki modestly asked fans to be patient and wait “just a little while longer.”
