Netflix has officially announced the premiere date for the second season of the popular animated series “Blue-Eyed Samurai”, which is a continuation of the revenge story of the warrior Mizu and will be released in January 2027. The announcement was made at New York Comic Con alongside the release of a fresh trailer and two atmospheric shots.
The events of season two pick up immediately after the finale of part one: Mizzou is sent to Europe along with his prisoner, Abijah Fowler. The trailer transitions from the brightly colored feudal Japan to the harsh, rainy, dark streets of 17th century London, where new deadly encounters and enemies await the protagonist. The project retains the recognizable visual style with which it originally won the prestigious award.
