The developers of Mist Hunters talk about the first results after launch and the changes that are coming. During this period, more than 1.5 million hunters have entered the battle, and the team has not stood still and has prepared a number of changes based on player feedback.
One of the major issues post-launch was latency and image jitter. The developers optimized the servers and found that certain operations, including updating bells and chests, caused excessive load. These bottlenecks are planned to be eliminated in future updates.
The team is also reviewing class balance. They wanted to keep Shadowstrix in the role of a mobile hunter, but limit the combination of high mobility with too much combat power. Sword and Shield Mercenaries are considered too strong, especially builds with red shields, while Black Arrow and Wizard are or will be nerfed due to high damage and safe mobility. Instead, some weak rallies are preparing reinforcements.
The developers separately explained the principles behind seasonal resets. As the new season begins, character levels, warehouse supplies, and some camp buildings will be reset, but long-term progression will remain. In return, players will receive compensation and additional rewards based on their accumulated wealth. The team also acknowledged seasonal mission overload: in future seasons, the number of missions will be reduced, and the mandatory requirement to play in groups of three will be removed. Finally, a second Black Arrow weapon is known, the Javelin, which is already in development.
