The creators of the animated action game “Silver Palace” summarized the results of the recent closed beta and talked about future changes. The team will focus on four areas: combat, story delivery, open world exploration and performance.
One of the main issues during testing was the way the developers invoked camera controls and target acquisition during battles with hordes of opponents, flying enemies, and fast targets. In future versions, enemy placement, camera movement rules, and target acquisition will be redesigned to make it easier for players to keep track of what’s happening on the battlefield.
These changes will also affect the visual feedback of attacks. The team will improve animations, special effects, sounds, and enemy reactions to hits, as well as better differentiate techniques for different characters and weapons. Special attention will be paid to combat information. Currently, support, reactor, and catalyst enhancements, as well as the effects of certain character statuses, may not be immediately apparent in combat. The author intends to redesign the interface and training materials to more clearly display the mechanics and feature changes.
A conversation history will appear in the story section. With its help, players will be able to return to previous conversations at any time and remember important details of the investigation. There are also plans to improve the production of the main story, including visual effects, animation, sound and the structure of individual scenes. Controls, camera and sound will all be improved in stealth and elimination scenarios. Additionally, they hope to make more use of detective mechanics, including the Light of Revelation, in story missions, and add more interactive elements.
To investigate, the developers created a special “Curious Inference” mode that provides multiple options for the development and ending of events. In the future, the team plans to release more similar tasks.
The open world of Silvernia is about to change. Developers will expand the number of available interiors, improve the lighting, ecological and visual features of various areas, and add more everyday details. They also hope to improve the behavior and appearance of NPCs so that the characters more closely match their professions and personalities. Through new resources and interactive objects, exploring the city will become more diverse. The team will continue to improve Silver Pegasus’ steering and flight controls, as well as map, navigation, and camera work.
Finally, the developer admitted that the current version of Silver Palace still needs optimization. In future tests, the team will continue to improve performance and compatibility with various devices. Mobile testing is also planned in the future, but a specific date has not yet been announced.
