Less than two weeks after Deadline reported that Nicholas Hoult had approved the role of Goldsmith Lockhart in the “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” series, HBO has carried out a royal change.

“Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” is scheduled to premiere on HBO Max on December 25, 2026, and preparations for filming the second season are already in progress.
