GOOD SMILE COMPANY studio has confirmed the exact release date for role-playing game Nekopara Sekai Connect on the service steam. The game will be released on the Valve store for PC on September 29, 2026.
Let us remind you that in April this year, the English version of Nekopara Sekai Connect was released on mobile devices, but only in 30 countries in North America and Southeast Asia. With the release on Steam, the game will also hit the global market.
NEKOPARA Sekai Connect is a hybrid visual novel and management simulator set in the popular NEKOPARA universe. The plot of the game takes place in the near future, where humans coexist with nekos, created with the help of advanced artificial intelligence. The story follows the owner of La Soleil candy store and his pet who go to the Neko Festival, an international tournament. The main prize of the competition is the granting of any wish of the AI creator, which encourages heroes to participate in the competition while uncovering the secrets of the world around them.
The visual portion is based on Sayori’s illustrations and is produced in a typical anime style using 2D character animation and full dubbing of dialogue. Gameplay combines a read-through storyline, casual semi-automatic combat, a sandbox for setting up your own shop, and a rhythm mode with unique music tracks and cuts. Progression is based on collecting cats from around the world, improving their traits and discovering personal stories through social interaction.
