
Gamescom’s main broadcast “Opening Night Live 2026” kicked off the Cologne exhibition. There will be more gameplay demos in the coming days, as well as details on announcements made during the debut. In particular, new details are expected for games announced on Game Pass. At the Gamescom opening show, they showed off three new trailers for Microsoft’s subscription projects, but there were no announcements; all of these versions were previously known.
Gears of War: E-Day – October 6, 2026
Coalition and Xbox Game Studios showed off the game’s story trailer at Gamescom and reconfirmed that the game will be released on October 6th and will only be released on Xbox Series X | S and PC. Let us remind you that the story campaign can be completed in single-player mode or in co-op with up to 4 people.
Death Valley – October 13, 2026
From the creators of Ghostrunner, a first-person action game about a rebel soldier in Napoleon’s army. The game promises Souls-like mechanics where players will have to use a combination of guns and melee weapons during combat.
No Ghosts in The Grand – December 2026 (Early Access)
The developers of The Grand game have announced that an early version of the game will be released in December 2026 only on PC. A full release is planned for Xbox Series X | S at a later date.
