The harsh reality is that fans of the Heroes of Might and Magic series are forever stuck in 1999-2000, and with very few exceptions, they can’t see anything other than “three points,” “five points,” and a little “four points.” Ubisoft, which owns the rights to the franchise, is well aware of this and therefore tries to tap into nostalgia from time to time. So, to everyone’s surprise, a full-scale remake of the third installment in the cult series was announced today as part of Gamescom 2026.
According to the developers, the game will remain essentially the same but will receive completely redesigned graphics. The remaster includes the main installment “Rebirth of Erathia” as well as the prequel add-on “Breath of Death” and the sequel add-on “Doomsday Blade”.
Project details will be announced gradually. A release date has not yet been announced, but the Steam page for the remake is already open. in russia Steam page It’s still available, but considering Ubisoft is listed as publisher and developer, we wouldn’t be surprised if some time later it’s replaced by the now-familiar “Oh, I’m sorry!” This will be very interesting because, in general, very few places or people are interested in this project except Russia.
