Pearl Abyss has released a major enhancement update for action RPG Crimson Desert. Patch number 2.00.00 is available for free to all game owners on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This was announced at the opening of Gamescom 2026.
The main story received new boss-related scenes and additional material. Lore, items, memory fragments, lines, and dialogue are added to the game to complement each opponent’s story. The logical coherence of the main plot and mission interface has also been improved.
The developers have redesigned the skill development system. A new currency “Abyss Mark” has appeared in the game. If one character masters the skill to use a Void Artifact, the remaining playable characters will receive the same number of seals. Mastery skills are now reset individually for each character, and seals spent on those skills are given back to the owner. Eight new skills have been added to the cliff, which can be mastered after reaching a certain stage in the main plot.
The patch also brings some changes to gameplay. Individual control of aircraft emerged. In the “Miscellaneous – Input” menu you can now choose between “Camera” mode, where movement follows the direction of the view, or “Manual mode”, where separate buttons are used to perform ascent and descent.
The list of available dubs has been expanded to include German, French, Spanish, Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese. Arabic language has been added to the interface and subtitles. Many bugs have also been fixed.
