DLSS Swapper, a popular utility that facilitates replacement of upgrade libraries, has received files from the latest version of DLSS 310.7.128 and uses the newer DLSS 4.5 ray reconstruction technology. Previously, fans had to manually extract the new DLL from the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta client, but now it can be downloaded directly through the application library.
New models for noise reduction and light reconstruction using Preset F. Since the developers of DLSS Swapper have not yet released an automatic interface update for selecting the new letters, you can simply manually edit the profile to activate the default:
- Close DLSS Swapper and go to the %PROGRAMFILES%\DLSS Swapper\Assets folder.
- As an administrator, open the dlss_d_presets.json file in any text editor.
- Find the Preset E block and copy the following line, replacing the name and value with Preset F and the value 0x00000006: { “name”: “Preset F”, “value”: “0x00000006”, “used”: true },
- Save changes and restart the utility.
Thereafter, the default F will become available in the light reconstruction drop-down list of games that support RR. However, for those who don’t want to manually edit files, an official update for the program with native support for defaults should be released in the next few days, and NVIDIA itself should also release a new driver and enable RR replacement through the NVIDIA app in the coming days.
