The developers of open-world action-adventure game Aniimo have officially confirmed the exact release date. During the Gamescom 2026 preview, a new trailer was released, and two dates can be seen at the end of the trailer. The game will be released on PC on September 16 (steamEpic Games Store, Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and will be available on mobile devices running iOS and Android on September 23.
Aniimo will take place on the vast continent of Idyll. Players must explore the open world, capture creatures using pods, set traps, and take into account the environment, weather, natural phenomena, and time of day. Different Animo will appear under different conditions, and most of them can evolve. One of the features is a system merged with Animo. Players will be able to transform into collected creatures and use their abilities to solve puzzles, fight, and overcome obstacles.
