Grinding Gear Games has announced the full release date for Path of Exile 2, an isometric role-playing action game. The game will end early access on December 11, 2026 and will be free on all platforms.
The full list of changes for Update 1.0 has not yet been revealed, but it is known that the main innovation in this version will be the new Duelist profession. Its developers showed it off in a trailer at the opening of Gamescom 2026. As a result, 12 character classes will be available by the time of full release.
Path of Exile 2 is an isometric action RPG set in the dark continent of Wraeclast, where an ancient threat has once again begun to spread corruption and drive people into madness. The game offers a new six-act story campaign with hundreds of locations, enemies, and unique bosses, each using their own mechanics. Players can choose one of twelve basic classes and develop their character through advancement specializations, passive skill trees, and a system of active and support gems that allow the creation of various ability combinations.
