The story trailer for the Gears of War: E-Day event was released at Gamescom. This was announced before the opening of Night Live.
Tonight, Geoff Keighley broadcasts the opening night of Gamescom live, marking the start of Gamescom, Cologne’s biggest video games trade show for many years. The upcoming Xbox exclusive action game Gears of War: E-Day was also unveiled.
The first trailer for the new gaming event has been revealed in the lead-up to Gamescom ONL and is now ready for its actual launch. The story trailer is about two minutes long and goes into more detail about the story in the campaign.
The early journeys of Marcus Phoenix and Dominic Santiago are illuminated; after all, the new game, which serves as a prequel, tells the events of some 14 years before the actual first installment of the long-running action series. Specifically, it’s about the Day of Emergence, the day when hordes of locusts appeared on the surface of Salad and began their war with humans.
Gears of War: E-Day will launch on Xbox Series X/S and PC on October 6, 2026; you can watch the accompanying new story trailer.
