Proponents of artificial intelligence believe that it will change our lives at an unprecedented rate, disrupt the status quo, and open up an unpredictable and somewhat terrifying future for mankind. So far, this has not happened; instead, the presence of artificial intelligence adversaries has begun to increase. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman also admitted to being overly optimistic about the issue.

A recent survey showed that nearly 49% of U.S. adults now use artificial intelligence chatbots, compared with only 33% a year ago. More people are using the Internet every day. AI developers expect progress to be faster. “I think I got a few things wrong. One of them is that the economy has tremendous inertia. People keep doing the same thing.<..>They buy from the same company, and they keep using the same tools in the same way. In many ways, that’s not a bad thing: the coming transition will be smoother and slower, and for that we can be grateful that the timing isn’t overly optimistic. ““, Mr. Altman said in a recent interview.

As proponents of artificial intelligence grow, so do its opponents. Dissatisfaction with data centers and the problems they create pose challenges for tech giants. Tens of thousands of people have lost their jobs due to investments in production automation or artificial intelligence. Concerns that artificial intelligence could cause significant damage have been heightened by recent hacks by artificial intelligence agents. People began to use the Internet less. Altman calls this trend normal and healthy because it is human nature to worry about rapid socioeconomic change, and in his view, the current situation is similar to the Industrial Revolution.

Concerns are heightened by the artificial intelligence industry itself, which has been scrambling to talk about the risks and mass layoffs while remaining silent on the technology’s benefits and ways to mitigate its shortcomings. On the other hand, promises of a universal basic income or the abolition of forced labor do not take into account what people still value: autonomy, personal freedom and a say in determining their own future. Altman describes the prospect of a handful of companies controlling artificial intelligence in exchange for security and abundance. “Anti-humanity” Advertising action. He believes that the success of artificial intelligence should be accompanied by the empowerment of people, increased entrepreneurial opportunities and unprecedented prosperity of small businesses.
