Studio Panache Digital Games has announced the release of the mysterious action game 1666: Amsterdam, available in early access on PC for 1,170 rubles (on Steam and Epic Games Store).
The game was announced immediately following its launch during Gamescom’s opening night livestream, and was accompanied by a new trailer. The game invites you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a detailed recreation of historic Amsterdam, where behind the facade of prosperity hide ancient entities – “primitives” who decided to abuse their eternal power.
The protagonist is Noah Brooklyn, born Collector, who is tasked with identifying and destroying hidden enemies. During the day, players investigate and search for clues, and when night falls, a deadly hunt begins using magic and strategy.
One of the main gameplay features is the ability to instantly switch between Noa and her sidekick Aaron, a mysterious creature stuck inside a cat in 1999. Since the game is in early access, the developers are willing to accept feedback from the community through the official Discord server, and welcome any previews, impressions, and tutorials from the media.
Gamers have received mixed reviews for the game. There have been no negative reactions to the new product itself, but those who bought it are advised to wait, since even in Early Access the entire game is still pristine.
