At Gamescom in Cologne, AOC showcased its new large-size OLED gaming monitors from the AGON Pro OLED series. We are talking about the 49-inch model AOC Agon Pro AGP497UCZD and the 34-inch model AOC AGON Pro AGP346UCSD.

The flagship model AGP497UCZD has a 49-inch diagonal and is based on Samsung’s second-generation QD-OLED matrix. It has an aspect ratio of 32:9 and a curvature radius of 1800R. This monitor supports a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels, providing the same screen space as two 27-inch QHD monitors combined into one for maximum immersion. This monitor also supports a 240Hz refresh rate. Typical display brightness is 250 cd/m22 (peak value 1000 cd/m2). Has VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. The monitor claims 99% DCI-P3 color space coverage, 100% sRGB coverage, and 98% Adobe RGB coverage. The screen is also factory calibrated with color accuracy reaching Delta E <1.
Other features include support for low-latency mode, VRR, dynamic aiming, dark area control settings, enhanced shadow details, and game tone to improve image quality in dark scenes. You can also switch between preset game modes with the press of a button for quick access. The monitor also features low blue light and flicker-free technology to reduce eye fatigue and has a matte anti-glare surface to reduce reflections.
This monitor is equipped with 1 DisplayPort 2.1 interface, 2 HDMI 2.1 interfaces, and 1 USB-C (supports DisplayPort and 90 W charging mode). Additionally, it comes with a KVM switch and a USB hub with three USB Type-A and a pair of 8W speakers.
The displayed ultra-wide QD-OLED model AOC Agon Pro AGP346UCSD is 34 inches in size and supports a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 360Hz. This model was released back in May. This display is based on Samsung’s fifth-generation Penta Tandem QD-OLED matrix. The display has DarkShield 3.0 anti-glare coating. The screen brightness in SDR mode is 300 cd/m2Peak in HDR mode – 1300 cd/m2. This monitor is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified. The AGP346UCSD claims 99% DCI-P3 color space coverage, 100% sRGB and 97% Adobe RGB. It is also factory calibrated to Delta E <1. This monitor supports adaptive image sync technology and is also compatible with Nvidia G-Sync.
In terms of connectivity, there are 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, 1 DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR20), 1 USB Type-C port with DisplayPort mode and 15W charging function, and 3 USB Type-A ports. In addition, there is a headphone jack, two built-in 8W speakers, and a KVM switch.
The manufacturer has priced the Agon Pro AGP497UCZD model with a 49-inch screen diagonal at 999 euros and the 34-inch Agon Pro AGP346UCSD model at 899 euros. Both new products will be available in September.
