SberDevices launches smart speaker “SberBoom 2.0”. It provides natural communication opportunities, music access, and smart home scenarios that work even without the Internet.

SberBoom 2.0 provides one male and two female artificial intelligence assistant voices, as well as business, neutral, and friendly communication methods; users can choose to call themselves “you” or “you”. The Interrupt field lets you clarify the context of a request and add new information without having to say the assistant’s name; users can ask several questions in a row and change the topic of the conversation on the fly.
The device is equipped with motion sensors – it can’t just wait for user commands, but takes action proactively. If you set a personalized scene, SberBoom 2.0 can sound a reminder when the user approaches, turn on the lights when you get home, or conversely, turn off the lights throughout the house when there is no movement. This smart speaker supports Zigbee and Matter over Wi-Fi protocols – you can connect a variety of compatible devices to it: lights, sockets, sensors, smart relays and more. Control of smart home devices, including voice commands, can work when the Internet is turned off.
“SberBoom 2.0” has a 50W woofer and two speakers placed at a special angle to produce a stereo effect. The device comes with four microphones that allow it to recognize voice commands even in noisy rooms. Smart speakers adapt to surrounding conditions to provide surround sound that takes into account room characteristics; additional settings can be made using the equalizer. SberBoom 2.0’s large built-in memory allows you to download up to 200 songs to the speaker and control their playback via voice, even when used offline.
The device is equipped with an LED display and an RGB LED ring; upon request, the screen can display the current time, weather or traffic information. Smart speakers can express emotions on the display; soft RGB ring lighting can adapt to the music, scene or mood. “SberBoom 2.0” has a wear-resistant fabric coating on the outside; the device’s design draws on the corporate style of previous generations of SberBoom speakers. “SberBoom 2.0” is already available for pre-order on the SberDevices official website at a price of 21,990 rubles; it will go on sale on trading platforms and electronic stores on September 15.
