On the evening of August 27, Rockstar Games planned a large-scale game display of the action game “Grand Theft Auto VI”. For some reason completely unknown to the average person, the live show was only available on Netflix and not even available in all countries around the world, but luckily, a few hours later, a recording of the show was later posted on YouTube and other video hosting sites.
The entire game demo lasted nearly 27 minutes, during which the protagonists Jason and Lucia still performed small tasks for their employers and spent their leisure time. In short, we are shown almost at the beginning of the game to avoid unnecessary “spoilers”. There’s no point in retelling the film in detail: it’s easier to watch this way.
Of course, we didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary: typical GTA. Grand Theft Auto VI’s graphics are at an acceptable level for a game in 2026, with excellent animations, colorful characters and missions, and gameplay elements that are entirely standard for the series. It should be understood that the purpose of this type of show is to ignite interest in a project before its release, rather than to lay out all the trump cards at once.
And the release is coming very soon indeed: the new game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles on November 19th this year. One day it will make its way to PCs. But it will certainly achieve that goal: after all, in the 13 years since the fifth installment in the series, the PC’s share of the gaming landscape has increased significantly, and no one would voluntarily give up such a large market. Unless, of course, the publisher is Sony, where fictional ideology is more important than profit.
