Last week, Bethesda Game Studios released a major update for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition across all platforms. With this update, we’ve improved modding on the console and generally returned the Creations system to the way it’s now implemented in other studio projects.
However, after the Skyrim update was released on August 20, players experienced crashes on both Xbox and Playstation. Today, August 27th, Important patch releasedthis should fix them:
- On Xbox, the update fixes an issue that caused Skyrim to crash when opening the map multiple times, an issue players were actively complaining about.
- On Playstation, the update eliminates bugs related to using the on-screen keyboard in the main menu. It also fixes an issue on Sony consoles where the game would incorrectly display the amount of storage space available for modifications.
