Hisense launched the A10 Pro and A10 Ultra smartphones. Both devices feature a 6.13-inch Carta 1300 E-ink display with a resolution of 1648 × 824 pixels. The screen supports 256-level grayscale display and 36-level two-color backlight. The main feature of the series is the optional color screen. The 4.96-inch LCD panel is easily fixed on the back of the phone through magnetic rings and metal contacts.

Unlike traditional displays, e-ink panels use reflected light to create images, making them essentially blue-light-free and flicker-free. This screen is great for reading e-books, annotating PDF files, and studying. A dedicated E-Ink T2000 TCON chip is responsible for updating the screen, suppressing the effects of image retention and reducing the load on the main processor.
With the color screen installed, the A10 can be used like a regular smartphone. Users can view color comics, charts and images, watch short videos and use social networking applications.

The A10 Ultra comes with a magnetic color display. The A10 Pro phone has built-in magnetic contacts, but the optional screen needs to be purchased separately.
Hisense A10 series smartphones are built on the eight-core Qualcomm QCM6690 single-chip mobile platform and are manufactured using 4nm process technology. The chip supports 5G connectivity and is optimized for e-ink devices. CPU frequency and power consumption are automatically reduced during static reads.
These smartphones come with a 48 MP primary rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. Other features include NFC, infrared remote control, Wi-Fi 6, call recording and app cloning. The device is equipped with a 4000mAh battery and supports 18W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Ultra models also support magnetic wireless charging.
The smartphones run Android 16 out of the box and support long-term system updates and security patches. Unlike some e-ink phones that limit the number of apps that can be installed, the A10 allows users to install Android apps in the normal way.
Both models are available in Moon White and Bamboo Green, and both weigh 190 grams. Each model is available in three configurations.
The A10 Pro version with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage is priced at 2,799 yuan (approximately $416), the version with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage is priced at 2,999 yuan (approximately $446), the smart space configuration with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage is $1,949, the smart configuration is $1,995, the smart configuration is $1,995, and the smart configuration is smart.
