This past gaming week was entirely dedicated to Gamescom, where a number of new Game Pass products were announced, and many previously showcased games received new details and release dates. As part of our regular weekly roundup, we’ve rounded up all the most interesting news about Game Pass subscriptions between August 22 and 29.
New games on Game Pass
This week, only 4 new games were added to the Game Pass subscription:
- Aerial_Knight’s DropShot (Xbox, PC) – Advanced version, previously available in Ultimate and PC
- Blood Dungeon (Xbox, PC) — Ultimate Edition, PC
- Once Human (Xbox, PC) – Game Pass rewards at any level
- Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy (Xbox, PC) — Ultimate, PC
The main release this week is Asobo Studios’ Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. The project received positive reviews from players and critics. At the same time, Digital Foundry also separately praised the project for its optimization for Xbox Series X, with the game running at a higher FPS than Playstation 5 Pro.
