G.SKILL has launched a new series of DDR5 memory – Flare X5X. Its special feature is support for the AMD EXPO ULL overclocking profile optimized for the Ryzen platform. As part of the new series, the manufacturer has so far released only one set of memory – with a capacity of 32 GB (2 × 16 GB) DDR5-6000, with CL36-36-36-76 timings.

AMD EXPO ULL overclocking technology differs from regular AMD EXPO profiles in that it provides more granular adjustments to memory subtiming and adds a low-latency mode. According to AMD’s internal testing, the average FPS of EXPO ULL is 13% higher than JEDEC DDR5 memory and 4% higher than the average FPS of the current EXPO overclocking profile.
The G.Skill Flare X5X memory module adopts a simple design. They come with black metal heatsinks and no RGB lighting. Every Flare X5X series memory module undergoes in-house quality and performance testing.
The manufacturer says that the Flare X5X memory modules will be available in phases depending on the region. G.SKILL did not disclose the cost of the Flare X5X DDR5-6000 RAM kit shown.
