ICARUS has released another update that adds new saddle options for Slinkers while fixing some issues with Elysium’s vegetation and terrain.
Slinkers now supports 14 types of saddles. In addition to the three standard options – Desert Ride, Arctic Ride and Arctic Survival – players can also use eight models in the Creature Comforts add-on. These include Arctic Explorer, Armor, Bearskin, Alligator Skin, Luxury Leather, Desert Tracker, Racer and Sandworm Scales. In this way, the companion can not only be used for movement, but also a suitable appearance can be chosen for it.
The team has a special focus on Elysium. Vegetation on the map has been optimized, with large amounts of floating trees, bushes and other objects removed, and duplicate and inaccessible ore voxels corrected. These changes require a complete reset of vegetation, so trees, rocks, and bushes reappear in all existing open worlds and avenues. The developers warn that this may affect the routes players lay out and the area around their base.
Additionally, the western swamp now contains more edible mushrooms, and the eastern part of the area has been transformed, revealing previously hidden caves and passages to volcanic fields. The team has also adjusted the damage of River’s diving attack. Next week, slag will be available from deep deposits on all maps.
