Even before the platform’s official launch, NVIDIA RTX Spark-based laptops have been growing in popularity. ASUS and MSI report strong demand: partners have already selected the first batch of devices, and manufacturers are trying to secure additional supply from NVIDIA.
Asus previously said that all RTX Spark-equipped laptops have been pre-ordered by the company’s partners. Now MSI is in a similar situation. According to the company’s product director Peng Renfang, orders have come from China, Taiwan and the United States, and the first batch of models equipped with a more powerful version of the N1X chip have almost been sold out. MSI has approached NVIDIA for additional supply.
The main feature of RTX Spark is unified memory up to 128 GB LPDDR5X. NVIDIA said this configuration will allow it to run AI models with up to 120 billion parameters, while traditional gaming graphics cards such as the mobile RTX 5090 may have problems due to limited video memory. At the same time, the platform not only focuses on artificial intelligence, but also on gaming and professional tasks.
The manufacturer promises 100 frames per second in modern AAA games at 1440p resolution, with support for DLSS and multi-frame generation. The large amount of high-speed memory should also come in handy when working with lots of textures and other resource-intensive projects. At the same time, future versions of Windows 11 will allow flexible allocation between a single internal GPU and the system.
