In terms of pure electric power, using such input data, the Crossover is able to cover 324 kilometers, which is approximately equivalent to 69.7% of the claimed mileage of the CLTC cycle. The average electricity consumption per 100 kilometers of track is 19.7 kilowatt hours. From Shanghai to Beijing, the car traveled 1,230 kilometers and had 54 kilometers of remaining power reserve when it reached the end. In form, the crossover has a range of 1,284 kilometers with a full fuel tank and a fully charged power battery. This is equivalent to 75.3% of the declared CLTC range.
The Xiaomi Skynomad N90 Max crossover is equipped with a traction battery with a capacity of 76 kWh and a one-and-a-half-liter internal combustion engine under the hood, which acts as a generator to charge the battery and power the traction motor. The latter’s total power reaches 416 horsepower. The mass of the hybrid vehicle with driver and full tank of fuel reaches 2840 kg. China’s large three-row crossovers are still mainly hybrids, because large-capacity power batteries not only greatly increase weight, but are also expensive, and the mileage traveled on electricity alone is not very large. In this regard, hybrids offer relative freedom of movement at a reasonable cost.
