The next Nintendo Direct may be scheduled for September – Ubisoft may have already revealed the date.
Nintendo typically announces air dates for its direct conferences on fairly short notice. There is a good chance that there will be another such new version of the format in the new September – and this date may have been inadvertently known in advance.
Its possible origin is rather unusual, as Ubisoft may have made some mistakes. Leaker SwitchForce previously mentioned September 10, 2026 as a possible date for the next Direct conference, and Ubisoft’s current statement is in line with that.
Of course, the developers and publisher haven’t made it clear that the next Nintendo Direct will be held on September 10th. Instead, Ubisoft commented on the recent leaks surrounding Just Dance: Hits of the Decade. This is supposed to be an upcoming game in the popular dance game series.

Ubisoft said in a statement that the leak did not provide a complete picture of the new part of the series. Instead, they hope to present it in full on September 10 – possibly as part of a direct meeting. Background: There has been an intrinsically close connection between Just Dance and Nintendo Direct over the years. New installments of the series are often presented as part of Nintendo Broadcasts, such as Just Dance 2026 as part of last year’s Direct conference. So it would make sense if that happens again this time – and then the next direct match will be on September 10, 2026.
Whether this speculation is confirmed may be revealed around September 8 or 9 at the latest, as Nintendo usually officially announces its Direct launches a day or two in advance.
