After six years of development, the hardcore post-apocalyptic pixel action game Scavland is about to be released on Steam Early Access with over 175,000 wishlists.
The new product offers a fresh look at a common survival environment, combining features from cult games such as STALKER, Metro and Escape from Tarkov. The project stands out for its detailed pixel graphics, procedurally generated dungeons, and deep weapon customization system.
The authors pay special attention to technical optimization. The game runs well on portable consoles like the Steam Deck and ROG Ally X, requiring only 4 GB of RAM and 1 GB of available storage.
The project’s visual style clearly references old-school MMORPGs, including elements reminiscent of classic Tibia and Ultima Online. The exact cost of the game has yet to be announced, but the developer is promising affordable pricing ahead of its September release.
