There’s plenty of horror in Resident Evil Village, but the film’s director has now revealed which monster was able to give him a ‘panic attack’

“I play [Resident Evil: Village] In VR, as an adult, I’ve never had a problem with holding back Because of the fear of facing nothing,” Craig explained during a special Q&A event, which screened the first 30 minutes of the new film.
“But playing Resident Evil 8 in VR… you go into the dollhouse in the basement, and there’s that mannequin on the operating table, and then you go into those dark passages, and there’s This giant kid chases you in the dark”.

“E The sound he makes is fucking horrible.I was in virtual reality, I was in the garage, I was having a full-blown panic attack,” Craig continued. “For the first time in my adult life, I had to take it off and say, ‘I’m going to take a break. I’m going to get some candy or something. And then I’m going to come back and try again. I mean, it was really scary.’
If you recall, the Resident Evil movie contains many elements inspired by the game.
