The calendar has turned and Blood of the Dawn Treader, the first vampire RPG from Polish Rebel Wolves published by Bandai Namco, has been released on PC, PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series, without a Russian version, priced at £4,999.
So far, casual gamers have been more restrained in their reception of the new product than critics: after its midnight release on Steam, including in the context of some technical issues, it received mostly positive reviews of 75% and a maximum online audience of 44,400.
The developer released an introductory piece of cinematography that shows how protagonist Cohn meets the main Carpathian vampire Brunsis and ends up in the same predicament. IGN showed off the first 19 minutes of the role-playing game. At the same time, the reporter demonstrated 12 minutes of gameplay in the PlayStation 5 Pro’s performance mode, which Rebel Wolves added in the first-day patch at the urgent request of the staff.
