The developers of Dragonborn: Outcast are preparing an expanded arsenal for the next major update. The developers showed off the first batch of new Greed weapons – unique items that can significantly change the usual builds and force hunters to enter the Inferno again.
Greed weapons arrive with a cross-platform update and feature special mechanics. You can only equip one of these weapons at a time, so your choice must be made with the entire character build in mind. Now, the series will be supplemented with new copies, three of which the developers have already started showing off.
Details of its effects are currently being kept under wraps, leaving only brief hints. The first weapon is capable of stripping another item of its buffs in its favor, the second appears to allow attributes to be assigned after the death of the original owner, and the third relies on increased sharpness – specifically targeted at those who find themselves on the other end of a blow.
All new items will be mined in Inferno. Meanwhile, the developers announced another long-awaited change: the storage capacity of shards will finally be increased. Specific features and update details of the weapon will be revealed later.
