Krafton is currently developing the MOBA game “Project ZETA” and is testing its progress again in advance. The second global community test begins.
The PUBG folks at Krafton have been working on Project ZETA, a MOBA or third-person MTA game – as Krafton himself calls it. MTA stands for Multi-Team Tactics Arena. Does this all sound too complicated for you to imagine? Here’s the good news: Project ZETA is now available for early access in its second global community test.
This new testing phase is scheduled to take place between September 4th and September 7th, 2026, and also brings two new heroes compared to the first test. The developers have also promised to make system updates based on feedback from the first test run.
In this game, four teams of three players each compete simultaneously to compete for a game called “Prism.” Different heroes have unique abilities that can be used. The selection now includes 16 heroes playing four different roles: warrior, marksman, assassin, and magician.
New additions include the melee-focused Nova Crash from the warrior class and Azrakel from the assassin class. Matchmaking and balance in combat have also been optimized. For example, there’s now a new rating system that brings together players with similar skill levels. Game mechanics have been tweaked so that teams now have a chance to comeback even after falling behind early.
The second global test starts at 8pm today via the Steam store and is scheduled to end at midnight on September 7th.
