After leaks from the US Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), 2K Publishing Confirmed Plans to upgrade the action-adventure game “Mafia: Definitive Edition” for new platforms.

It is understood that six years later, “Mafia: Definitive Edition” will appear on PS5, Xbox Series X and S. Owners of the game on PS4 (digital, retail) and Xbox One (digital only) will receive the upgrade for free.
The version of Mafia: Definitive Edition for PS5, Xbox Series Cannot transfer saves from previous generation.
“Mafia: Definitive Edition” will be available tomorrow, August 14th, on PS5, Xbox Series X and S, as well as the new “Mafia: Omertà Collection”. The announcement also comes with Overview trailer (see below).
The Mafia: Omertà collection includes:
- Mafia: Definitive Edition has been improved for PS5, Xbox Series X and S;
- Mafia 2: Definitive Edition and Mafia 3: Definitive Edition include all new content but no improvements for current generation consoles;
- The Definitive Edition of Mafia: The Old Country includes content from the Men of Honor Story Expansion Pack (also released on August 14th) and the Deluxe Edition (which will be discontinued on August 14th).

Owners of one or more games in the Mafia: Omertà Collection will receive a discount on purchases from the collection. The trial offer for Xbox Series X and S is valid until August 25th, and the trial offer for Steam and PS5 is valid until August 28th.
