Rust received an update that slightly changes the usual erase start. The developers added new obstacles to the monument, changed the cost of maintaining large bases, and prepared several ways to use rare resources and honey reserves.
The Monument Blocker appears in the room with the red key card puzzle. These structures require severe damage to destroy and cannot be restored after destruction. Some options can be defeated even in melee combat. If no one touches them within the first 24 hours, they will begin to collapse on themselves.
Large groups now have to watch their spending more closely. The first four players will have no base maintenance tax increase, the next six players will each have an increase of 2%, and each subsequent player will have an increase of 4%. The maximum premium is 300%. This takes into account not only licensed players, but also people who have recently lost access to cabinets or combination locks.
Extremely rare deposits of high-quality metals have also appeared on the island, especially in the jungle. Store drones now rely on power plants: their batteries must be charged to at least 50% before they can accept orders. A medical honey bandage appears on the first level workbench, turning excess honey into a new in-between treatment option.
