Playground Games has released a major new update for Forza Horizon 6, kicking off the British Car Series. The update has launched on Xbox Series X | S and PC, with the holiday playlist itself starting on September 10th. The main innovation is the new mode, which also adds cars, various bonuses and some technical improvements.
Drift Attack – New Persistence Mode
The main feature of this update is the Drift Attack mode, which is now rolling out. It is located on the Island Hill circuit and combines elements of the Drift Zone and Drift Horizon. Players need to get as many drift points as possible in one circle, and there is no limit to the number of attempts.
Special areas have also been added to the track, which increase your score if you successfully slide. This mode supports leaderboards, including results from friends and team participants.
Completing Drift Attack earns you special rewards, including a suit and helmet, and a new 1990 Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition car specially prepared for drifting. The regular version of the car is also already in showrooms.
British car acquisition
Aftermarket dealers near Horizon Stadium in the Shimanoyama area received temporary themed decorations. The British Car Takeover event will provide players with special offers on British cars.
Additionally, two rare cars that are usually only available through Wheelspin may spawn there:
- 2019 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera
- 1961 Jaguar E-Type
