So-called “white hat hackers” are believed to be behind the attacks, often withdrawing funds when a vulnerability is discovered but later returning the funds to collect rewards. In the message, the company also apologized for any inconvenience caused to customers whose wallets were affected by the incident.

It is understood that the hackers withdrew the cryptocurrency through the SideSwap payment platform, which is authorized to conduct online transfers. However, the keys used in the attack were not leaked. The incident disrupted the network and Liquid Network is working to resolve the issue.
