Xiaomi has updated its 27-inch Redmi A27U display. The new model will be produced in two versions. Both feature USB Type-C connectors and support 4K resolution.

Manufacturers are positioning the newer monitor models as universal solutions for work and entertainment. The updated Redmi A27U’s older model (P27UEC-RA) supports two operating modes: resolution 3840×2160 pixels (120Hz) and 1080p (240Hz). The second version (P27UEB-RA) only supports 4K resolution and has a refresh rate of 75 Hz. Other than that, the features of both models are almost identical. The screen brightness of both versions is 400 cd/m22 And obtain VESA DisplayHDR 400 certificate. The new product is based on an IPS matrix and has a response speed of 6 milliseconds
The monitor also claims to have 100% sRGB color space coverage and 98% DCI-P3 color space coverage. The company notes that the monitor is color calibrated from the factory.
Like the previous generation model, both new Redmi A27U models are equipped with USB-C interfaces and support 90W reverse charging. In addition to the Type-C port, 2 HDMI 2.1 connectors, 1 DisplayPort 1.4, 2 USB 2.0 Type-A, and 1 3.5mm audio output were also announced.
In China, the updated Redmi A27U model that supports 240 Hz refresh rate is priced at 1,999 yuan (approximately $297). The cheaper version is priced at 1,699 yuan (about $253). Xiaomi launched its previous generation model in global markets and the same is expected to happen with the updated model.
