God of War author David Jaffe has harshly criticized the visual design of Insomniac Games’ upcoming action game Marvel’s Wolverine. In his new video, the game designer reflects on the looks of the main female characters seen in recent trailers.
The faces of Jean Grey, Mystique, and Lady Destrik drew the most criticism from the developers. Jaff called such images disgusting and wondered how such a visual solution could be approved for a big-budget project on the PlayStation 5. At the same time, the author clarified that he is not opposed to diversity or realism in games, but considers the artist’s specific work to be unsuccessful.
