Christopher Nolan’s epic blockbuster “The Odyssey” continues its triumph in theaters around the world. At the end of its eighth weekend, the film’s total box office revenue reached $1.6 billion. Of this, exactly 1 billion comes from the international market.
This achievement allowed the film to beat out many of its competitors and place it at number two on Universal’s list of the most profitable films of all time. The project now ranks second only to 2015’s blockbuster “Jurassic World,” which grossed $1.67 billion.
