Following the global release of the Watch 6 smartwatch, Huawei has launched an expanded Watch 6 series in China, including the basic Watch 6 and the upgraded Watch 6 Pro. The new product comes with smart assistant, improved X-TAP technology and updated specifications.

The case diameters of Huawei Watch 6 smart watches are 42 mm and 46 mm respectively, and the thicknesses are 10.2 mm and 10.9 mm respectively. Weights are 38 grams and 52 grams respectively. The case diameters of the Watch 6 Pro smartwatch are 43 mm and 46 mm, the thickness is 10.2 mm and 10.9 mm, and the weight is 50 grams and 57 grams respectively. The Huawei Watch 6 is made of aluminum or stainless steel, while the Huawei Watch 6 Pro has a more durable titanium or ceramic case.
The 42/43 and 46 mm versions of the two models are equipped with 1.38 and 1.5-inch TPO 2.0 AMOLED screens respectively, with a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels and a peak brightness of 3500 cd/m22.
This smart watch is pre-installed with an AI voice assistant, which can control multiple functions such as payment and food input by voice. In addition to heart rate sensors and blood oxygen level (SpO2) detection, the Huawei Watch 6 series is also equipped with an electrocardiogram sensor.
This smartwatch also supports more than 100 sports modes. The Watch 6 Pro model comes with the Expedition app, which displays maps and allows users to mark waypoints.
When you touch the X-TAP sensor with your finger, a comprehensive check of 14 key health indicators (pulse, electrocardiogram, blood oxygen level, stress level, mood, skin temperature, etc.) is initiated and a report is provided after 60 seconds. The improved sensor is twice as sensitive as previous models. There’s also a fitness rating feature that shows you how you’re currently feeling.
Smaller models with case diameters of 42 or 43 mm offer up to three days of battery life during normal use and up to a week in power save mode. The Huawei Watch 6 version with a case diameter of 46 mm can provide 4.5 to 11 days of battery life.
The new product is now available for pre-order and will go on sale on September 23. The Watch 6 Pro 46mm is priced at 3,599 yuan (approximately $536), the Watch 6 Pro 43mm is priced at 3,499 yuan (approximately $521), the Watch 6 46mm is priced at 2,899 yuan (approximately $432), and the Watch 6 42mm is priced at 2,7999 yuan (approximately $417).
