Studio Manjuu Games (creators of the hit Azur Lane) has shared monetization details for its upcoming open-world fantasy action game Azur Lane. As part of the upcoming third closed beta, the game will introduce a gacha system, in which the creators decided to abandon the 50/50 mechanic that players hate.
When the guarantor system is triggered, players have a 100% chance of receiving the target flag hero instead of a random leg from the standard pool. This rule applies to limited character banners as well as standard pool and soul summons.
Guaranteed accumulated progress is fully saved and transferred to the next flag, freeing players from the fear of wasting resources before changing rotations. The absence of 50/50 allows viewers to accurately calculate the monetary reserves of their favorite waifu without the risk of losing the guarantor and spending twice the coins.
