The new season “New Horizons” kicks off in the multiplayer action game “Crossout”, with Machinist, Steppenwolf and Scavenger teaming up to fight Aris and the Reavers. The update brings several new parts for armored vehicles, additional scenarios in PvP missions, and a series of unusual brawls. The Battle Pass and related packs will be available until November 25th.
One of the major new products is the MVP Flagman air mattress. It can reach speeds of 70 km/h and provides additional cabin power to each enemy within a 100-meter radius. Maximum rewards are gained when four enemies are nearby, so the new chassis is designed for active encounters in the center of combat.
The arsenal has been replenished with the Gromira Cannon, which fires heavy ship cannonballs. During the first 125 meters of flight, the warhead gradually increases in power, with damage increasing to 250% and momentum increasing to 180%. The boost lasts until the first enemy or environmental object is hit. Another new product is the ATGM-L Kornet missile launcher with target designator, which uses slow-velocity guided missiles. Players can use the laser pointer to adjust its trajectory for a few seconds. If you stop aiming, the missile will split into four parts and explode in a small area. The list of new equipment also includes the MCR-8 Lomtik radar. It can detect enemies, stealth vehicles and mines in bunkers with a detection radius of 250 meters. Cleaver Heavy Huts receive bonuses based on the number of nearby allies and enemies.
Several unusual PvP brawls have been prepared for this season. In Blind Fire, all participants start the battle invisible. Using weapons or mods, taking damage, and collisions will temporarily expose the armored vehicle. You can track your enemies through sound and dust clouds, and periodically turning off a random player’s invisibility can completely change the dynamics on the battlefield. This mode will be available from September 17th to 23rd.
Other scenarios also appear in regular PvP missions. These include “Dignified Riders,” random sandstorms that gradually shrink the safe area, and impromptu “Squad Showdowns,” in which three teams of four fight at the same time. A “Dangerous Goods” scenario has been added for missions on all chassis types.
