MMORPG Embers of the Uncrowned is preparing a new Nightstalker class. So far, developers have only shown his silhouette and a brief backstory, but have already hinted at an unusual combination of northern shadows, coldness, and harsh life.
The hero, the illegitimate child of Lord Valdemar of Goldenport, found himself a stranger among the nobility from an early age. The reason is simple – he has no talent for ancestral magic. Instead of trying to integrate into the aristocratic world, he left the castle and wandered as a mercenary.
This path leads the hero to the continent’s barren north, where he must hone his skills alone and learn to survive in harsh conditions. The polar night was not an obstacle for him, but a school: after adapting to the darkness illuminated only by moonlight, he mastered the power of shadow and frost.
There are currently no details on Nightcrawler’s abilities. The developers promised to reveal the mechanics of the new class in the next diary, but now they’re inviting players to guess for themselves what this mysterious wanderer might look like.
