In August, Game Freak Studio’s game “Samsara Beast” was launched. It’s a new series, and the developers note that it’s attracting many more players than they expected.
Project director and screenwriter Yutaka Furushima was interviewed Famiton Said that “The Beast of Samsara” has reached a large audience with Xbox Game Pass. In addition, according to him, the physical version of PlayStation 5 is also selling well. However, he didn’t specify the game’s exact sales numbers or total audience across all platforms.
At the same time, the large coverage area also brings additional workload to the Game Freak team. Developers said they had to deal with far more feedback than they expected from customer support, social media, gameplay videos and broadcasts.
Furushima also acknowledged player complaints about controls, narrative pacing, training, and many other game components. Since launch, the team has released several small updates, but work on larger improvements continues. In the next patch, the author hopes to add the ability to skip cutscenes and focus on the combat system. In particular, the team will increase the speed of healing with stimulants, redesign early training elements, adjust the pace of character development and make interface changes.
Please note that Beast of Reincarnation does not have Russian localization, and Game Freak Studios has not yet talked about plans to add it.
