The developers of Xenolocus continue to reveal new details about the game and showed off a demo of the updated holographic interface. It integrates missions, navigation, and skill management without forcing the player to constantly be distracted from what’s going on.
In the new interface, you can open a holographic window that contains information about video missions and interesting objects in the level. If necessary, the contents can be closed with a simple movement of the hand. The system is complemented by new bracers with a map projection of the area, which will make movement around the base easier while enhancing immersion.
There is a motion sensor built into the interface, with an active skills panel displayed next to it. In the demo video, the developers showed off the activation of the “rate of fire” feature. As a result, key controls are now collected in one place and should be accessible without unnecessary steps.
The authors of Xenolocus continue to regularly share development news and encourage players to add the game to their wishlists. This will keep you from missing out on more material about the project and future updates.
